Angry Birds Champions

Game Goals

The Angry Birds’ Slingshot Championship has been taken over by Bad Piggies! It’s up to you to clear them out. Complete each level by using the Angry Birds and their special powers to defeat all of the Pigs. Earn extra points by destroying the Pigs’ fortifications and any bonus items.

Tournament Modes

In Angry Birds Champions, we offer two different tournament modes:

  • In “Best Of” mode, you play the same level multiple times. This gives you an opportunity to experiment and try different strategies. At the end of the match, your highest score for the level will become your final score in the tournament.
  • In Progression mode, each level is different. At the end of the match, the sum of all your level scores will be your final score in the tournament.

Game Rules

Each level of Angry Birds is made up of some number of forts inhabited by greedy Green Pigs. To the left of the Pigs’ forts, you will find a Slingshot and a group of Angry Birds. The birds will load themselves into the Slingshot automatically, prepared to attack the Pigs’ forts.

To launch a bird, tap or click on the Slingshot and hold it down while pulling it toward the left side of the screen. Pulling it leftward controls the power of the shot, and moving it up or down controls the trajectory. Let go to launch the bird toward the battlefield!

In each match, you’ll also have a limited number of “swaps” available. Tap the Swap button to switch the current bird in the Slingshot with the next bird on deck. Use this strategically to choose the best bird for each shot.

The Birds and Their Special Powers
There are six different types of birds, most of which have a special power. Activate a bird’s special power by clicking or tapping the screen while the bird is in flight. Each bird’s power can only be used once, so try to time it for maximum impact.

Strategy Tips

  • After each shot, you will see a vapor trail that shows the last bird’s trajectory. This can be used as a guide when lining up the next shot.
  • Some birds do extra damage to particular materials. Refer to the bird list above for tips about which birds are strongest against glass, wood, or stone.
  • Use your limited number of “swaps” strategically to select the right bird for the job at hand.
  • If you can’t hit a pig directly, try collapsing a structure on top of it instead.
  • Keep an eye out for bonus items, especially golden treasures. A lot of extra points can be earned by destroying them.
  • Complete each level with as few birds as possible, because each leftover bird at the end of the level is worth a whopping 10,000 points!
